Vyanga Care (Pigmentation)
Targeted treatment for facial pigmentation. Requires a few sessions, practitioner consultation and herbal supplements.
In Ayurveda, melasma and facial hyperpigmentation are called 'Vyanga', caused mainly by an imbalance of Bhrajaka Pitta (which governs skin colour) combined with aggravated Vata. This therapy works on deep-tissue melanin, so internal herbal guidelines, diet and multiple progressive sessions are part of the protocol.
It begins with a clinical consultation and a customised facial layout — deep exfoliation with herbal powders, Mukha Abhyangam with pitta-reducing oil, mild facial steam, and targeted herbal pastes (lepa). The herbal pastes may tingle or feel warm as they promote cellular turnover.
What this therapy supports
- Gradual lightening of dark spots, melasma and hyperpigmentation patches
- A more uniform and even skin tone
- Long-term prevention of new spots by balancing systemic heat
