A 30-minute practitioner consultation is mandatory beforehand. During the session you can expect a focused oil massage, followed by herbal heat application and finally a supportive herbal bandage to comfort and protect the joint.

Supportive herbal bandage
A herbal bandage is applied to support and comfort the treated joint.
This therapy should be avoided in cases of acute severe inflammation or a hot, swollen joint, open wounds or skin infections, fever, fractures or dislocations, and inflammatory joint conditions such as Aamavata or Vata Raktam. It is always subject to practitioner consultation, and is well suited to localized joint pain or stiffness, sprain or strain recovery, and joint degeneration.
