Abhyangam with Njavara Kizhi (Affected Joint / Partial Body)
Ayurvedic oil massage with application of njavara rice and milk on the affected joint. Strengthens joints, muscles and nerves. A 30-minute consultation is mandatory before this therapy.
This targeted therapy pairs a soothing Ayurvedic oil massage of the affected joint with Njavara kizhi, a warm poultice of red rice cooked with herbs and milk that is applied locally. Together they work to strengthen the joint, muscles and nerves while gently rejuvenating the area.
A 30-minute practitioner consultation is mandatory before treatment, and the therapy focuses on the affected or partial body area rather than the whole body. You can expect a focused oil massage of the joint, followed by the application of warm njavara-milk kizhi — a nourishing and deeply soothing experience.
