Nasya (Sensory & Respiratory Clearance)
Administration of medicated oils into the nasal passages to clear congestion, relieve chronic headaches and sinusitis and balance Prana Vata. Requires a mandatory Vaidya consultation — enquiry only.
Nasya is the administration of medicated oils, powders or herbal juices into the nasal passages, which Ayurveda regards as the gateway to the brain. It works to clear congestion, soothe the nervous system and balance Prana Vata.
The session begins with a gentle face, neck and shoulder massage followed by herbal steam (Swedana), after which a precise dose of medicated oil is administered while you are comfortably reclined.
