Abhyangam with Kizhi (Heat Compress)
Full-body oil massage with herbal heat compression to reduce stiffness of muscles and joints and improve ease of movement. Part of our rehabilitation protocol — practitioner consultation required.
This clinical, practitioner-supervised therapy combines a full-body dynamic medicated-oil massage with Kizhi, a form of Swedana or sudation that uses herbal poultices. It offers a deeply warm and tactile experience designed for genuine rehabilitation.
After the oil massage, heated herbal poultices are applied with gentle tapping, rhythmic pounding and sliding compressions over the muscles, spinal pathways and joints, with the therapist continually checking the temperature for your comfort.
