This treatment is not advised for extremely dry skin, eczema, psoriasis or any skin condition, as the dry powder can irritate. It must be avoided over open wounds, skin infections, active acne or broken skin. It is also unsuitable during pregnancy, in cases of severe emaciation, high fever, or acute inflammatory conditions.
